In a world out of balance, poetic song emerges as a prophecy about the future and the possibility of surviving and reorganising our village. We have been relegated to the cruelest forms of the outer edge, as the technological tragedy that now determines and controls our subjectivity is deconfiguring our vital relationship with the other. We live in a virtual mirage, as reality and metaphor, as experience and taboo. Writing emerges, then, as a journey in search of the vestiges of our humanity in the midst of a civilisation on the verge of extinction.
